HABC Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF)
HABC Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF) is a regulated qualification that is designed to make learners aware of the different aspects and principles of risk assessment. The course ensures that candidates are familiar with the integral concepts surround risk assessment, including risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to them and some of the processes required to carry them out.
The qualification is made up of one mandatory unit for all candidates, and is suitable for learners in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The course covers many of the basic risks that can be present in any workplace environment and raises awareness and knowledge of those risks. It is also designed to provide practical advice and knowledge of the basic steps that businesses need to take in order to control those risks.
The HABC Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF) has been accredited by the regulators of England and Wales (Ofqual, the Welsh Government and the CCEA) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It is also supported by ProSkills, the Sector Skills Council for the processing and manufacturing sector.
